Versatile and practical
The closed type awning of the American manufacturer Kelty is positioned as a universal solution for outings into nature from spring to autumn. It is suitable for lovers of beach holidays and picnics, fishermen and music lovers attending open-air festivals.
The Kelty Cabana is relatively light weight and is one of the lightest tents on the market by the standards of fishing solutions (2.9 kg). Convenience in transportation will be provided by a complete case, which, thanks to the presence of a pair of shoulder straps, is actually a backpack.
Simple design
The hemispherical frame of the tent is created by two fibreglass arcs. To give greater resistance to the wind, in addition to the pegs, sandbags are also included. The design itself provides a domed roof with a maximum height of 135 cm and a trapezoidal textile base measuring 290x193 cm. This should be enough for two or even three users.
Effective sun and heat protection
Access to natural light and air circulation will provide both a large closed entrance and a pair of mesh windows (mosquitoes). The latter are supplemented with curtains that will allow you to hide from prying eyes.
The awning is made of polyester with flame retardant impregnation, UV protection and sealed seams. It will hide from direct sunlight in the warm season. But the model will not save you from prolonged or intense rain, because the water resistance of the awning is minimal — 1000 mm of water column.
Kelty Cabana is a lightweight and practical tent for two or three people, suitable for summer fishing or daytime outdoor activities.
