Koss Sporta Pro
Type:on-ear, for active sports
Connection:3.5 mm, 6.35 mm
Frequencies:15 – 25000 Hz
Sensitivity:103 dB

a "sporty" take on the Koss portable on-ear headphones. One of the most striking features is the ability to wear a headband both on the head and behind the back of the head. The headphones fold flat for easy portability and come with a carrying case. The wire is reinforced with Kevlar thread. The manufacturer has claimed a special design “for deep bass”, while the overall frequency range is 15-25000 Hz, and a good sensitivity of 103 dB provides good audibility even in noisy places. Can be plugged into 3.5mm and 6.35mm jacks.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Koss Sporta Pro headphones are highly regarded for their excellent sound quality and affordable price, making them a popular choice among users. They are praised for their comfortable fit and compact, foldable design, which is ideal for on-the-go use. Despite their durability, some users note that the wire is fragile and requires careful handling. The headphones offer a balanced sound with good bass, although they may lack sound insulation, making them less suitable for noisy environments. Overall, the Koss Sporta Pro is recommended for those seeking quality sound at a reasonable price, but users should be mindful of the delicate construction.

Ears are class
15 March 2010
i’ve been using the ears in conjunction with an iPod classic 60GB for 4 years... and I hope to use them for a very long time - indestructible, I’m very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the quality (as for the sports version) of sound, I recommend!!!
The model is old, but time-tested - in 4 years (minus 2 months) we plowed up to 100%!!! The wire pulled a little - repeatedly, crawling out of the car - it literally fell out after my knee... it caught on the wire. The first time I thought everything... I’ll break it, and then... in short, repeatedly during the entire time of use I pull the wire involuntarily... 2 times I got caught in the rain... I even had to hide my iPod in a pack of cigarettes - without an umbrella.. .. and the braids are still alive to this day :)
minuses 2 - foam rubber in the area of the temple - bitten off 3 years ago - and to hell with it .. and recently the foam rubber on the pads crawled - cured by buying labtek with a similar size of pads :) 35 hryvnia - and... a gift for the employees, and foam rubber for me: ):):)

The brand justifies itself, for such a price the quality is very decent.
Great sound quality and very comfortable. I bought it for myself to listen to on the street and did not regret it, light and comfortable
The fastening loosened quite quickly, in general it was a small matter - they fixed it right away, but it was unpleasant.

The headphones are good 5 out of 5, the best for the money, but the sound is a little worse than the port pro
straight minijack, excellent sound, low price, fits well on the head
Fragile, I read on the net that one of the speakers often breaks

Can you listen to music on the subway without turning up the volume?

Koss Sporta Pro are suitable for this with one caveat: their open design provides almost no noise isolation, so in the subway and other loud vehicles, you have to turn the music up noticeably louder. On the other hand, you can still hear the surrounding world outdoors, and some of the sound will be audible to people nearby.Source:General information

Where does wear usually appear when they are used intensively?

With the Koss Sporta Pro, the cable near the plug and the foam earpads most often require attention: owners report kinks, loss of contact, and earpad wear after months or years. If the headphones are often kept in a pocket or used in cold weather, handle the cable with particular care.Source:General information

Will the headbands snag hair during everyday wear?

The Koss Sporta Pro can catch hair in the headband adjustment mechanism, especially when adjusting the fit while the headphones are already on your head. Several owners have noted this, so if you have long hair, it is best to adjust the size first and then put on the headphones.Source:SpecificationsUser Reviews

Can I listen to music from a smartphone without an additional amplifier?

Koss Sporta Pro headphones connect directly to a smartphone via a 3.5 mm jack, but the device’s weak output may limit volume and dynamics. If the phone usually drives on-ear headphones confidently, a separate amplifier will most likely not be necessary.Source:General information

How do the Koss Sporta Pro differ from the Porta Pro?

The main practical difference is the swiveling headband, which can be moved behind the back of your head—for example, under a helmet or other headwear. Owners who have compared both models often consider their sound very similar or identical, so the choice usually comes down to fit and design.Source:SpecificationsUser Reviews

Are the Koss Sporta Pro suitable for running?

For walks, cycling, and less intense workouts, they can be comfortable thanks to their lightweight design and two headband positioning options. However, the fit depends on head shape: some owners run in them without any problems, while one buyer notes that the headphones do not stay in place well when running.Source:General information

Additional description:

Stereo headphones for active music lovers who value sound quality and their mobility. Wide frequency range and excellent sensitivity. Clear, soft sound and deep bass typical of home hi-fi headphones. Can be worn in two positions: headband head rests either on the back of the head or on the head, as in conventional arc headphones. Super compact: When folded, the headphones take up little more space than a pack of cigarettes. The metal headband adds strength and durability.
