Model overview based on user reviews
The Makita 4327 electric jigsaw is praised for being a reliable and compact workhorse, making it a popular choice among both professionals and amateur carpenters. It features a 450W motor with adjustable speed control, allowing for precise cutting of materials like plywood and laminate. Users appreciate its durability, with one reviewer noting it performed well for three years without any breakdowns. However, the main drawback is the non-cast sole, which cannot be replaced with parts from other models like the 4329. Additionally, the lack of a pendulum action may require more frequent maintenance, with some components needing replacement every 6-12 months. Despite these minor issues, the Makita 4327 remains a dependable tool for accurate cuts, especially for those seeking a straightforward and effective jigsaw.

i worked with him for 3 years and I’m happy with the item for the money. there were no breakdowns. Interskol couldn't stand it at work for a week.
reliable. compact, workhorse.
the main drawback is the sole. it is not cast, I asked if it could be rearranged from 4329, they said there was no other fastening. and the second pendulum for everyday work, both will have to be changed every 6-12 months.

Simplicity is the key to reliability

The Makita 4327 corded jigsaw is a living classic. It has been produced for more than 15 years, and you can still buy it in many online stores. The secret of the popularity of this model lies in the fact that the Makita 4327 is an unpretentious and trouble-free tool that (if it is not overloaded) works reliably for years without any technical problems. The design of this jigsaw is quite simple (but time-tested). Inside the traditional D-handle housing is a 450W motor. It drives the saw unit, which can move up and down at a high frequency (speed can be adjusted in the range of 500 - 3100 strokes / min using the wheel). The mechanism for fixing saw blades has a traditional design, the files are clamped with a key. An interesting feature of this node is that it is possible to insert not only ordinary files (1.1 mm thick), but also more durable blades of increased thickness (1.7 mm) into it.

Accuracy and accuracy

According to the passport data, this jigsaw can cut wood up to 65 mm thick. But experience shows that it is best suited not for working with thick boards (Makita has miter saws and circulars for such tasks), but for accurate cutting of sheet materials, such as plywood and OSB, or precise cutting of thin planks, such as laminate and parquet board. Performing such tasks, Makita 4327 can work for hours without overheating. At the same time, the jigsaw works practically without rattling and vibrations, it perfectly holds the line, it does not lead to the side, and the saw blade does not dangle. Therefore, the cut edges are neat and do not require additional processing (of course, this is only true if you use high-quality saw blades).

Many options for every taste and color

Despite its low power and frankly poor equipment, Makita 4327 is in great demand among professionals and amateur carpenters due to its reliability and accurate cut. But there are other jigsaws in the huge range of Makita tools that are “built” around the same motor, but have a slightly different “stuffing”. Here, for example, Makita 4326 is exactly the same jigsaw, but without speed control. Or Makita 4329 - a version with a molded sole and a pendulum mechanism. Or the "red" Makita M4301 (aka Maktec MT431) - a "low-cost" version with a pendulum, but without speed control. With such a rich choice, every carpenter can buy a Makita jigsaw, which is better than others for solving a particular range of tasks.
