Powerful tool for tough jobs

Japanese designers managed to create a really powerful destructive demolition hammer with medium dimensions. With a power of 1510 W, it produces an impact force of as much as 25.5 J - this is even more than that of the heavy Interskol M-25/1500. Thanks to this force, the chipper can crush old foundations, ditch ditches under the armored sleeve of electrical cables, loosen frozen soil and chisel old asphalt. At the same time, the 12-step adjustment of the position of the drill (one position for every 30 degrees) allows you to work in the most inaccessible places on the construction site. For example, by pushing the drill forward 5-8 centimeters, you can deepen the hole in the wall for embedded parts, which could not be done with the initial position of the working tool.

Protection of man, fender and power supply

The Makita HM 1203C model has a well-developed system for protecting a person from electric shock. If the electrical cable is damaged (for example, a brick falls on it or it breaks), then the corresponding indicator on the device will light up green, and the engine itself will be blocked. All structural elements are rubberized, and the wires are dressed in double insulation. Also in a demolition hammer the function of "soft start" is provided. Thanks to it, the current load is supplied to the network not abruptly, but gradually, without overloading it. So that the motor is not damaged due to insufficient current collector, it turns off when the carbon brushes are erased, and the indicator lights up on the body itself. Unfortunately, there is no vibration suppression system, and it is rather big here - 15.5 m/s2.

Working with different materials

It is convenient to work with a demolition hammer not only with hard granite or crushed stone concrete, but also with soft materials, such as granular screenings (blind areas are often poured from it) and expanded clay (screeds). For such work with different materials, automatic and manual (5 positions) adjustment of the frequency of impacts (up to a maximum of 1900 beats / min) are provided. At the top of the Makita HM 1203C case there is a start button blocker. However, it is not very conveniently located, since during drilling you need to reach for it with your thumb, and not press with your index finger, as in other models. Hands get tired very quickly, since the demolition hammer is quite heavy - as much as 9.7 kg, and this is without a drill or chisel. As in the Bosh GSH 5 CE Professional fender, there is a convenient multi-position front handle, SDS Max cartridge, but of course the price is appropriate.
