Automatic blood pressure monitor with an upper arm cuff, introduced in 2023, features voice announcement of measurement results in six languages: German, English, Dutch, French, Italian, and Turkish. This feature makes the device especially convenient for visually impaired and elderly users who find it difficult to read numbers on the display. Suitable for pregnant women, individuals with hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular and kidney diseases, and anyone who regularly monitors their condition.

It uses a measurement technology during air inflation, which speeds up the process and reduces discomfort from arm compression. The built-in motion sensor ensures the accuracy of readings, alerting to application errors. Medisana BU 586 blood pressure monitor measures blood pressure in a wide range from 0 to 300 mmHg and pulse rate from 40 to 199 beats per minute, automatically detecting heart rhythm disturbances through the IHB function.

Large LCD display with 40 mm high digits ensures excellent readability even in low light, and the WHO color scale visually classifies results with a traffic light system — green, orange, and red. The device stores 120 measurements for each of the two profiles with date and time stamps, allowing for a detailed electronic observation journal. The average value calculation function helps to obtain a more objective picture, excluding random fluctuations. Extended cuff designed for an arm circumference from 23 to 43 cm, making it suitable for people of various builds.
