Miele DG 2840 EDST/CLST

The compact (46 cm tall) Miele appliance is an advanced premium option and falls into the category of steam ovens. Essentially, it's a large (40-liter) built-in steamer that enables healthy cooking and provides pre-set auto programs (20 dishes available) that require no additional adjustments. Unlike traditional ovens, the Miele DG 2840 EDST/CLST steam oven supports a limited temperature range of 40 – 100 °C, making it unsuitable for many baking and roasting tasks.

However, it offers users the DualSteam technology, which ensures even steam saturation throughout the chamber, an increased 1.5-liter water tank capacity to avoid refilling during the cycle. There is also the option to use three levels simultaneously, as well as steam reheating of ready meals and defrosting food. Notably, the appliance features an informative EasySensor touch control panel, offering child protection and a timer, an automatic closing system for smooth and silent door movement, and a technology that reduces steam volume when the door is opened.
