Such models can be useful in cramped conditions where is relatively little space for installing the device. The payoff for small sizes is a reduced capacity and, in some cases, more modest functionality than full-size models. Therefore, they are much less common than full-sized ones, and it makes sense to specifically look for a compact oven when dimensions are critical.
