Model overview based on user reviews
The Mora Outdoor 2000 is a highly regarded outdoor knife, praised for its quality Swedish steel and lightweight design, making it ideal for hiking. Weighing only 141 grams, it features a rubberized handle that provides a comfortable, non-slip grip. The knife holds its edge well, suitable for tasks like chopping small logs. It comes with a simple, lightweight sheath that securely holds the knife and can be attached to a belt. While the knife is noted for its good factory sharpening, some users find it challenging to sharpen. Although its blade is considered thin for a universal hiking knife, it excels as a kitchen knife alternative. Overall, the Mora Outdoor 2000 offers excellent value for its price, especially for outdoor enthusiasts.

Cons

I recommend it, but with reservations.

A very decent knife, but it's too thin for a hiking (universal) knife. However, as a replacement for a kitchen knife, it's simply excellent.
Good factory sharpening, comfortable in the hand.
Not every craftsman will be able to sharpen this knife.

One of the best outdoor knives in its price range. Of the advantages, I would like to note high-quality Swedish steel and the knife blade as a whole. It holds sharpening perfectly, it’s not scary to chop small logs with a knife by hitting the butt. With all this, the weight of the knife is only 141 grams, which is very important for hiking. The handle is rubberized and lies well enough in the hand, does not slip. The sheath included is simple and light, the knife does not fall out of them and with the ability to hang the knife on the belt.
Knife weight, quality steel, price.
