Clip-point

— another universal profile, similar in shape to the drop-point (see the relevant paragraph), but differing in one characteristic detail: the front part of the butt, descending down to the tip, is not made in the form of an arc, but in the form of a straight bevel at a relatively small angle. This increases the effectiveness of the piercing effect, "clip points" are considered more "aggressive" than "drops", and better suited for use as a weapon. However, such knives are still primarily tools and show themselves well in this role, and in a fairly wide variety of tasks.
