The addition to the shelf of mid-range smartphones of the Motorola One series with an additional Zoom prefix is addressed, as you might guess, to adherents of the mobile photography genre. And that's why.
quad camera
The back of the smartphone is crowned with a quad camera. A 48 MP sensor with f / 1.79 aperture optics is assigned to the role of the leading image sensor in it, which is accompanied by a 16 MP ultra-wide (117 °), an 8 MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom and a 5 MP module for assessing the depth of the scene. The camera was “brought up” with optical stabilization (for the main sensor and telephoto), 10x hybrid zoom and night photography mode. The smartphone makes self-portraits at a 25 MP front camera, the lens of which is inscribed in a teardrop-shaped cutout of the screen.
OLED display
In front, Motorola One Zoom meets the user with a large 6.4-inch diagonal screen with FullHD + resolution (2340x1080 pixels). It is based on an OLED type matrix with bright and saturated colours. A learnable fingerprint sensor is embedded directly into the screen of the smartphone — the fingerprint sensor becomes faster and more accurate every time it is used.
Toughie
The pace of the device is set by the 8-core Snapdragon 675 chipset. Together with it, “under the hood” of the model, 4 GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 128 GB are installed. If the standard memory capacity seems a little, the user is provided with a slot for microSD cards with a maximum capacity of up to 1 TB. The smartphone also got hold of a capacious 4000 mAh battery with support for 18-watt TurboPower charging, an NFC chip and a stock Android 9.0 Pie system. In general, a tough nut to crack from the middle strata of the mobile device society in all its glory.
