How Much Memory Does a Video Card Need in 202516 GB - the new hit of the season? Or is 8 GB still enough? Let's figure out the optimal VRAM volume for modern games.

Performance mystery: Why mobile graphics cards are inferior to discreteLet's look at how NVIDIA cheats with different versions of chips and why laptop manufacturers slow down graphics cards

Very good card for 1080p 144Hz or 2K 75Hz. Very quiet, you can't hear it at all, with a maximum temperature of 72 degrees but averaging 65. You should pair it with at least a 9700K processor; I managed to fully unleash the graphics card with a 9600K overclocked to 4.9 GHz but with good cooling. Overall, the graphics card is great, bought it for $910 and it's worth the money. Small size, can be placed in any case, temperature, price, performance, noise (Very quiet), 8GB GDDR6 video memory is enough with Ultra 2k prosperity. The price at the moment is great, I sympathize with those who want to buy it, delivery is two weeks, preferably you need 32 GB of RAM (there were freezes for 16 GB), the processor needs an expensive minimum of 9700K, preferably 9900k. |
Quite noisy, gets hot, I had to limit the voltage so as not to roar like an airplane, the case sits under your ear, wildly annoying, fortunately the 3070 architecture allows you to do quite a bit of undervolting without loss of performance, but with a good drop in temperatures and consumption. Powerful, new architecture amperes, rays. Really at the level (or almost) of the RTX 2080Ti, and, whatever one may say, cheaper. Price. I understand that for 36k you can only get the version from Nvidia, or rather, it’s impossible to find one. But with such a cooling design, its price is about 50k, like the three-fan Palit, which, unfortunately, I was not able to get. I bought this one for 54k. The temperatures and noise were a bit disappointing. I still wanted to put it in and forget it, but I still had to twist it with my hands so that I could live with it. |

Seriously though, everything is maxed out in 2K. In Cyberpunk without ray tracing, I get about 80 fps, and with ray tracing and DLSS set to performance, it's around 50 fps, dropping to about 43 in difficult spots. This GPU didn't even notice any other games.
But I sure did notice the 29-degree room temperature in the summer!) With the PC off, it's 26 degrees. Keep this in mind.
I bought it for approximately €550 in early December, and for that price, it's an ultimate deal. For anything over €1,000, look into the TI version with proper cooling, as dual-slot cooling isn't ideal for the Ampere series.
