High performance gaming graphics card launched in the first half of the 2017 model year. Supports connection of monitors with 4K and 8K resolution, can become part of a special multiGPU configuration (Nvidia SLI technology), can work with virtual reality headsets. Due to the relatively high level of performance and excellent functionality, it is positioned as a product of the upper price category.
Can provide consistently high frame rates in popular games released in 2015-2018 at resolutions up to 2560x1440 and high/maximum graphics quality settings. The MSI GTX 1070 Armor 8G graphics card is equipped with Nvidia GP104 GPU (Pascal architecture) and 8GB GDDR5 graphics memory for realistic high-resolution textures. Consumes up to 150 W of electrical power, requires a high-quality power supply with a nominal value of at least 500 W and an additional PCIe 8-pin power line. Dissipation of the generated heat is carried out using the proprietary MSI Armor 2X cooling system with heat pipes and two fans with an optimized dispersion shape of the blades. Connection to a monitor, TV or other image output devices is carried out through any of the five digital ports (3xDisplayPort 1.4, 1xHDMI 2.0b, 1xDVI).
