Outdated Product
One of the highest performing mid-range gaming graphics cards on the discrete graphics market in the second half of 2019. Based on the high-tech AMD Navi 10 GPU, which was created using an advanced 7nm process technology. It features a slight factory overclock (+2% to the boost mode frequency), a stylish exterior design and the use of an efficient proprietary cooling system with heat pipes and improved TorX Fan 3 fans with optimized dispersion blades. Thanks to ZeroFrozR technology, the fans stop during idle, and the MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT EVOKE OC graphics card goes into a completely passive and silent mode. It is positioned as a product of the upper part of the middle price category, designed to be used as part of gaming configurations designed to work with FullHD and WQHD resolution moni...tors. Thanks to the progressive RDNA microarchitecture, the average gaming performance of this model approaches and often exceeds the level of the more expensive GeForce GTX 2070. The graphics card is able to maintain a comfortably high frame rate at the highest possible graphics quality settings in all popular AAA titles of 2015-2019 at a resolution of 1920x1080 . Most often, comfortable gameplay is preserved even when the resolution is increased to 2560x1440.

Factory overclock. Overclocking potential.

Video cards that focus on the essentials

Evoke is a new and different line of MSI graphics cards. If most expensive cards follow the credo “the more expensive, the brighter and more extravagant”, then the minimalistic and outwardly modest Evoke 5700 XT looks like their complete opposite. Not surprisingly, the line's slogan sounds like this: premium graphics cards that focus on the essentials.

Gold

As you can see in the photos, Evoke 5700 XT received a rather large cooling system with a simple-shaped casing, which is made in gold. Against the background of other cards, it stands out with its minimalist design and unusual asymmetric grille on the back. It seems that this is a new trend, because quite recently a card with a similar design was announced by XFX.

Atypical cooling system

The redesigned cooling system includes four heat pipes, a copper base, a fairly large aluminium heatsink and a pair of Torx 2.0 fans with a diameter of about 100 mm. Plus, thermal pads are glued to the GPU and memory, which additionally cool the card. Thanks to the use of two coolers instead of three, the card is shorter than most other versions of the 5700 XT. But due to the rear reinforcing plate, the thickness here is the same — almost three slots. As for the assembly, it is 5, since all the parts are very high quality, there are no flimsy parts.

Additional overclocking in 10%

The clock frequencies of the novelty are increased compared to the reference ones, and in the Boost mode they reach 1945 MHz. Due to manual overclocking in tests, we managed to achieve a stable frequency of 2049 MHz. That is, the overall overclocking in comparison can add an additional 10% compared to the reference 5700 XT. If we sum up the increased power with an excellent cooling system and the absence of noticeable flaws and flaws, the MSI Evoke 5700 XT seems like a worthy candidate for upgrading an old graphics card.
