Light version of the Nintendo Switch console. Unlike the older model, it can only be used in portable mode (there is no possibility of connecting to TV, as well as tablet mode). The console has become more autonomous, while maintaining the same performance.
The controllers are no longer removable and there are no additional ones in the kit (games for two will be problematic to play). There is no HD Rumble response system and an infrared camera, which will also affect the playability of some titles. The display has shrunk a bit.

Fully compatible with the extensive library of popular games developed for its "big sister" — the hybrid Nintendo Switch console. The differences lie in a much more affordable price, smaller screen size (5.5" versus 6.2"), lack of a docking station, incapability to connect to a TV, and non-detachable Joy-Con controller panels.
Thanks to such design changes, the weight of the console has been reduced by 31% (from 398 g to 275 g), significantly increasing the device's appeal as a mobile console that can be easily carried in any bag, backpack, or even a coat pocket. The hardware basis of the Nintendo Switch Lite model remains the powerful Nvidia Tegra X1 processor with 4 GB of RAM.
The resolution of the capacitive touchscreen with quality protective glass is 1280x720, and the internal storage capacity is 32 GB, which can be expanded by installing a microSD/SDHC/SDXC card (up to 2 TB). A high-speed Wi-Fi adapter is provided for quick loading of game content. The Li-Ion battery capacity is 3570 mAh, which is sufficient for 3–6 hours of use.

The Nintendo Switch is a very strange thing. You never think you'll ever buy it, but under some weird circumstances, it ends up with you. At the end of 2022, when there were blackouts with a terrible 2/4 schedule, I realized that mobile gaming wasn't for me, the laptop didn't hold charge for long, so I decided to buy a Switch. Fortunately, it was on sale then. And it seems to me that most owners of this console have a similarly strange purchasing story) And it was very handy then because the charge lasted for all 4 hours without electricity. But unfortunately for me, the ways to use this console ended there and on long trips, because at home there is a PC and PS5, so I only play it when there are no alternatives. So, if you travel a lot or need to occupy yourself when there's nothing else on hand, I recommend it. The console is worth the money, constant discounts and lots of portable games from PC, I'm playing Metro Last Light and it's awesome. I recommend buying it! A wide selection of games that won't run on a PC for less than 15 thousand, convenient for playing games anywhere.
