The new 10-megapixel sensor allows you to shoot at a maximum resolution of 3648 x 2736 – and print great photos in very large format with great detail. Moreover, you don’t have to wait until the little camera handles with heavy shots - the advanced electronic module ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) almost instantly processes the captured image image and allows you to instantly get an excellent quality photograph with excellent elaboration of halftones and colour shades.
A high-quality zoom lens, made in the best traditions of an optical company with a long history of PENTAX, is another powerful PENTAX weapon in the fight for image clarity and high contrast. The excellent optical design developed by the company's engineers, the best grades of glass, nullify numerous optical distortions. And the multi-layer proprietary SMC-enlightenment of the lens prevents the appearance of halos and glare even when light sources enter the frame.
The Optio A20 digital camera also gives you the ability to accurately evaluate your shot without ever taking your hands off the camera – the large 2.5-inch display with amazingly high resolution and high contrast stays bright even in sunlight. In the middle of the top ten main features of the Optio A20 digital camera, you can't help but think about video shooting. Movies shot with the Optio A20 are as good as a modern camcorder. Shooting is carried out with a resolution of 640 * 480 and a speed of 30 fps, and thanks to the DiVX / MPEG4 video recording format, with excellent quality, the volume of the video file is very small. The electronic stabilization system automatically corrects the effects of camera shake.
