A durable digital camera for extreme and underwater shooting. The body of the model is resistant to drops from a height of 2 meters and can withstand submersion up to 15 meters deep for one hour. Under the hood of the camera is a small CMOS sensor with physical dimensions of 1/2.3". Its effective resolution is 16 MP, allowing you to capture images at a format of 4608x3456 pixels.

Videos are recorded in maximum Full HD resolution at a frame rate of up to 30 fps. The duration of continuous video recording is limited to 30 minutes. The Pentax WG-1000 is equipped with a non-interchangeable lens with an equivalent focal length range of 27 – 108 mm. The lens aperture ranges from f/3.0 on the short end to f/6.6 at the telephoto zoom position. To prevent image blur, the camera includes an electronic stabilization system.

The model comes with 7 pre-set shooting modes and a set of creative filters. It is powered by a D-LI92 rechargeable battery, which holds enough charge for approximately 300 shots. For aiming, there is a fixed 2.7-inch display on the back panel with a resolution of 230k pixels. This all-round protected "little one" weighs approximately 200g. Able to withstand extreme conditions, Full HD video capability, electronic stabilization, pre-set modes with creative filters, and compact design make this camera an attractive choice for adventurous photographers.
