Convenient to handle, the mirrorless camera is equipped with a full-frame sensor with a resolution of 24.2 MP. The camera sensor is fixed in place, meaning there is no internal image stabilization system in this model. However, this issue is easily resolved by using stabilized optics — the kit lens for the mirrorless camera usually comes with a versatile 24-50mm zoom with an aperture of f/4.5-6.3 and built-in stabilization.

The technological highlight of the Canon EOS R8 kit is the advanced proprietary autofocus system, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, which has a minimal focusing time of about 0.03 seconds. The camera's autofocus recognizes people, animal faces, and vehicles in the frame; additionally, you can choose to focus on the left or right eye on a human face. During continuous shooting, the mirrorless camera achieves a shooting speed of up to 40 fps when using the electronic shutter. Video is recorded using oversampling from a 6K resolution frame to the more common 4K format (3840x2160 pixels at 60 fps). The model supports recording in Log 3 10-bit with 4:2:2 subsampling in H.265 format. The mirrorless camera is equipped with an electronic viewfinder, a touch screen on a rotating hinge, and wireless communication modules Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Great camera, almost no cons, a very good option!

A great camera for both beginners and pros! My first full-frame, I'm very satisfied, I love Canon, everything feels native and familiar. Made from pleasant quality materials, I took a long time choosing it, heard many good reviews from photographers, watched dozens of reviews. So far, everything suits me, it's already more professional than my previous crop sensor, and the photos turn out just wonderful! I'm very happy with the purchase, it was my dream!
