Adjusting the height of the upper basket

The built-in model of the Samsung DW-60M5050BB dishwasher is a typical “middle-class” dishwasher in all respects. This is a high-quality device in terms of design, functionality and a very reasonable price. The device is designed for simultaneous washing of 13 sets of dishes, while consuming 295 kWh of electricity (class A+) and 3360 liters of water (12 liters per wash) per year. The spacious stainless steel chamber was equipped with 3 loading containers: an upper basket for small dishes with shelves for cups, a lower one for large dishes and a tray for cutlery. The position of the upper basket is easily adjustable in height within 50 mm, freeing up additional space below for placing large pots and plates. The integrated safety system with effective protection against leaks Aqua Stop stops the supply of electricity and water when a problem occurs in the machine, preventing short circuits and leaks.

Hygienic treatment

The movement of the washing jets is provided by an economical circulation motor, and the heating of the water is provided by a heating unit with an average power value in the class of 1800 W. The model is equipped with a three-component water softening filter unit and a drain pump, which are located in an easily accessible location for ease of maintenance. At the top end of the door there is a push-button control panel with a large LED display, which allows you to monitor the status of the indicators at all stages of the machine’s operation. The control panel buttons can be locked against unauthorized intervention (child lock). The device has 5 main program washing cycles: fast (60 minutes), intensive, daily, delicate and economical. And the additional function of hygienic processing at a temperature of 70 °C, which is used both separately and together with the main programs, destroys harmful bacteria and further expands the capabilities of the unit. The Half Load function allows you to avoid accumulating a “full set” of dishes, the “3 in 1” function makes it possible to use universal tablets for washing instead of salt and rinse aid, and using the delayed start timer you can delay the start of the work program for up to 24 hours. At the end of the programs, a sound signal is heard indicating the end of the cycle.
