The SanDisk branded 1TB external SSD is a mid-ranger that joins the Extreme brand lineup in 2021. It combines solutions with a well-protected housing and is positioned as the optimal portable data storage for creative people who are often on the road. According to internal testing, the model must withstand drops from a height of 2 meters. And for ease of carrying, there is an additional rubber hook that will allow you to fix the drive on a bag, briefcase or belt loop.
The SanDisk Portable SSD SDSSDE30-1T00-G25 1TB is made in a miniature 1.8-inch format, equipped with TLC memory and a USB-C 3.2 gen2 data connector (with a complete adapter to USB-A). The read speed here can reach 520 MB / s. Other features include a 3-year limited official warranty. It is also worth noting that related versions are on sale, both smaller (480 GB) and larger (2 TB).

If you really want to save your data, don't spare money for a good SSD. The first thing you feel when you hold the device is that it’s high-quality. The compact case shows no signs that it might let you down at any time. Data transfers quickly, but make sure your USB-C port delivers maximum speed for this device; don’t use cheap hubs—they’ll ruin the experience (at least). Its size allows you to store this marvel anywhere (for example, in your wife’s makeup bag). Since we bought the SSD to preserve our most valuable memories, we're very happy with the result and know that for years to come, our data won't disappear on cloud storage or anywhere else. We need to learn how to be autonomous, especially in our times. Well, the price was a bit hard to swallow, but what can you do? I would also like a slightly longer included cable, because, for instance, I have a monoblock and the USB port is at the back - it's inconvenient to transfer data with such a cable - the SSD just dangles.
