Relatively small (93x49x18 mm) and light (56 grams) the Sangean radio receiver represents a cohort of pocket models in the middle price segment. And due to the presence of a digital dial, which, in addition to a convenient indication of operation, shows the current time, the device can also be attributed to a radio clock. For ease of carrying on the back of the case there is a clip for hanging on a belt, pocket or other items of clothing.

As befits pocket solutions, the Sangean DT-120 radio receiver is supplemented with a headphone output (traditional mini-jack), that is, it is well suited for individual listening to music and favorite radio stations. The analog tuner "knows how" to find radio in both the FM band and medium wave (AM). Up to 15 stations can be stored in the model’s memory, and using the “My favorite” button, you can quickly turn on your favorite of them. Other features include power supply from a pair of batteries or accumulators of the popular AAA size, the ability to automatically turn off (setting the sleep timer) and lock the controls to prevent accidental shutdown / selection of other radio stations.
