The SHARK brand presents the SmoothStyle hair dryer brush as a "2-in-1" device, and it's not just about the ability to both dry and style hair. The model has separate modes for working with wet and dry hair. There are a total of four temperature settings, three of which (from 50 to 100 °C) are suitable for gentle drying and adding volume right after washing.

The fourth mode is designed for dry hair — for straightening or lightly refreshing an existing style. For this, the brush is equipped with ceramic plates. In the "dry" mode, they heat up (in the three "wet" modes they remain inactive), increasing the overall temperature to 215 °C and helping to give the hairstyle the desired shape. A diode indicator is located at the bottom of the attachment: it does not light up without heating, it glows yellow during heating, and green when ready for use.

Thoughtful Design

The power of the hair dryer brush is 900 W — not a record-breaking figure, but in reality, the device confidently and quite quickly handles the drying of hair. Only those with long hairstyles might find the process taking a little more time. The ease of use is ensured by a swivel cord and a heat-resistant upper brush holder.

Features that might raise questions include the unconventional lower placement of control buttons, and a drawback is only having one attachment in the set, which is quite large in diameter. Many competitors in a similar price segment usually offer more accessories. Nonetheless, the SHARK SmoothStyle is an interesting and unusual hair dryer brush suitable for both wet and dry hair.
