The included A98D drum mount features a flexible gooseneck that securely secures the microphone in a precise location. A premium drum microphone, the BETA 98AD/C is ideal for snare, toms, and percussion. The extremely uniform cardioid polar pattern provides excellent pre-feedback gain performance and rejection of unwanted off-axis noise. The BETA 98AD/C is a cardioid condenser drum microphone that comes with an A98D drum mount with a flexible gooseneck. BETA 98A/C is a type that does not come with a drum mount. BETA 98 AMP/C has an integrated preamplifier. Supercardioid versions BETA 98S and BETA 98D/S are also available. Note: BETA drum microphones with an A after the model number feature a new capsule for a more natural high frequency response.
