The front bicycle headlight belongs to the middle class devices in the Sigma line. It is an advanced version of another popular model — Buster 100.

Battery powered

Like the younger version, the Buster 300 is a rechargeable USB-charged bike light with a clear two-stage indicator that shows both the current charge level and the status of the charging process. The maximum battery life of the model reaches 13 hours, but in the most powerful mode, recharging will be required after about 1.5 hours. The manufacturer claims the possibility of replenishing the battery capacity during use, for example, using a power bank. Charging takes up to 3 hours.

4 modes

With the Sigma Buster 300, the cyclist has 4 modes at his disposal, three of which involve a constant glow, and one flash (the most economical in terms of energy consumption). Power mode provides a maximum brightness of 300 lumens and a visibility of 70 metres, but it is also the “most voracious”. In Standard mode, the luminous flux is reduced by 2 times (150 lm), and the time without recharging is doubled. Eco-mode has a minimum brightness (70 lm), but also gives 6 hours of battery life.

Easy control and fixation

A large button acts as a control body, which is convenient to use even when wearing bicycle gloves. Double press to turn on and off, and single press to switch modes. By the way, the backlight of the button acts as a charge indicator.

A 360° rotatable screw bracket is available for fixing to the handlebar. The basic kit also includes an adapter for attaching to action cameras. The model weighs just over 100 grams.

Note that there is also an extended package (marked SD19550) on the market, in which, in addition to a bicycle headlight, a Nugget II Flash flasher and a quick-release mount are offered.

The Sigma Buster 300 is an excellent choice for driving on city streets where there is no urgent need for the highest brightness (from 1500 lm and more).
