The CATEYE AMPP500 bicycle headlight supports 4 operating modes — low and high constant brightness (250 and 500 lm, respectively), flashing, and a combined HyperConstant cycle to enhance daytime visibility. The model is powered by a 2200 mAh battery, ensuring autonomy from 1.5 to 5 hours in the main modes. Notable features include low battery indication (below 20%), USB charging, and a battery lifespan without significant capacity loss for up to 300 cycles. Additional advantages include easy handlebar mounting thanks to the FlexTight bracket, basic IPX4 water resistance, and quick maximum brightness activation with a double button press. Note that the accessory is compatible with other mounts, including a helmet bracket, but these need to be purchased separately.
