One of the best TV panels with a screen size of less than 50" based on a top-end OLED matrix framed by narrow dark bezels. The display renders black details very well without annoying flickering pixels. The OLED panel also supports the full package of popular HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG extended range technology specifications. “Under the hood” of the TV is a powerful Sony X1 Ultimate graphics processor, which does an excellent job of processing 4K video and “upscaling” video files from lower resolutions to UltraHD format. On the "smart" part of the Sony KD-48A9 remains faithful to the "OS" Android TV. Under it, an extensive list of applications has been released and support for high-definition video streaming services has been implemented. In particular, the buttons for direct access to N...etflix and YouTube Music (instead of the closed Google Play Music) are placed directly on the remote control of the model. Of the connection interfaces in the TV panel, there are four HDMI ports, three USB connectors, a composite video input (via a splitter) and an optical digital output. In terms of sound, the model uses the screen as a speaker membrane, making it vibrate with two actuators to create sound waves. Also, the TV carries one low-frequency radiator on board to work out the bass.
