Premium OLED TV with a 55-inch diagonal screen, running on Google TV. The smart system provides easy access to content viewing recommendations based on viewer preferences and includes built-in Chromecast and convenient voice control. However, the "real magic" of the model is, of course, the incredibly realistic image. The Sony XR-55A80L displays images in a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, and the Sony Cognitive XR processor skillfully upscales videos to 4K from lower frame formats.

The type and original quality of content are recognized as well. As for the support of extended dynamic range imaging technology, the TV works with HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision formats. The sound from the TV comes directly from the screen for added immersion. The model features a 50-watt audio system with two subwoofers. Out of the four HDMI ports on the TV, two are version 2.1, allowing for video signal transmission in 4K at 120 fps with VRR adaptive frame rate technology and low latency ALLM. One of the HDMI v 2.1 ports also handles eARC duties for connecting soundbars. The TV includes 32 GB of built-in memory, with wireless communications such as Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth v 4.2 available.
