Model overview based on user reviews
The Tamron 60mm f/2.0 Di II Macro lens is highly praised for its dual functionality, excelling in both macro and portrait photography. Users appreciate its wonderful F/2 aperture, which delivers soft yet sharp portraits, outperforming comparable models like the Canon 50 F/1.8 and 1.4. While it is designed specifically for crop sensor cameras, its performance and versatility make it a standout choice. The lens is considered a great value, offering exceptional quality for its price, with no direct competitors in its category. Overall, it is a great model that users love for its ability to handle diverse photographic needs effectively.
Pros
Cons
For the price they are asking, it has no competitors! 2 in one, macro + portraits, and this lens does both excellently. As a portrait lens - a wonderful F / 2 lens draws portraits quite softly (at the same time, the sharpness is at a good level.) In my subjective opinion, it is many times better than the Canon 50 F / 1,8 and 1,4 Lens only on (crop) use Tamron 60mm f/2.0 Di II Macro month or more |
