I gave this grill to my husband for his birthday. I see that he liked it. An assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of the grill is yet to come. I hope, of course, that in the future we will only evaluate the merits. I can recommend this device for those who want to add a little picnic feel to their kitchen. We have been using this model for a week. Overall, I liked it. For now we are only cooking chicken and vegetables. Chicken (fillet) cooks very quickly. Tasty! I appreciate the fact that the plates are removable. I took it off and washed it. They are easy to clean with dishwashing detergent. My husband loves fried meat and meat baked with a crust, but if everything worked out fine in the oven, then I categorically do not like frying in a hot pan with almost smoking oil. After such cooking, it takes a long time and carefully to remove the splashed oil. Yes, and the hood must be turned on at full power, and it buzzes so that after 10-15 minutes it completely takes out the brain. So this grill has become a real salvation. A wonderful kitchen machine for preparing mouth-watering steaks, baked vegetables, hot sandwiches and other yummy things. I'm not the biggest fan of fried, but frying in a pan with oil and grilling in such an apparatus are completely different processes. Here everything turns out cleaner and due to heating on both sides, meat or any other products are fried faster. Instead of a fountain, oil splashes produce juice and fat (if the meat is like that), which are neatly collected in a special pan. Depending on the product, I choose one of three modes - thermostat settings are available at 130, 190 and 260 degrees. Corrugated plates warm up in just 3-4 minutes, a special indicator will beep and you can start. You can wash the plates and the tray by hand, or you can give it to the dishwasher. There is a full two-year branded Tefal guarantee. If you, like me, are used to the non-stick coating on Tefal pans, which have not been afraid of light contact with metal for a long time, then everything is much sadder. The cover is soft and scratches very easily. There are no questions about non-stick properties, everything is on top, but when cleaning and washing, you need to handle the plates very carefully. It is best if you entrust this to the dishwasher, but sometimes it does not quite cope. Also, when the meat is splattered with fat, which does happen, the splatter often hits the control panel directly. |
