German brand Teka is known for bathroom and kitchen products with stylish design, high performance and affordable price. The TL 6310 hood of the WISH Easy series is a low-cost model with good performance at a price of only $70.
Appearance
The device is made of stainless steel and is available in silver, black or white. Depth of 41 cm with the panel extended is enough to get rid of fumes from all the burners of the stove and at the same time not bang your head against the visor during cooking.
Filters are made of aluminium, they are not afraid of rust. Lighting with 2 x 28 W halogen lamps is bright and pleasing to the eye, and the energy consumption is an order of magnitude lower than that of hoods with incandescent lamps.
Functionality
The hood operates at 2 speeds and the noise is quite tolerable at both — 45 and 54 dB, respectively. Given the cost of the device, it's even quieter than you'd expect.
The capacity of the TL 6310 is 332 m3/h, which is enough for daily cooking in a 6-8 m2 kitchen. For better air purification in recirculation mode, it is recommended to install a carbon filter, it is purchased separately. But it’s better to immediately worry about the availability, because not all hoods are easy to find this accessory.
The modes and speeds are controlled using buttons and everything is simple and clear here. One button is responsible for speed selection and shutdown. The second is for turning on / off the backlight and automatic mode, when the backlight is always on when the engine is running.
The Teka TL 6310 hood is perfect for small kitchens or office kitchen areas, where, usually, they are limited only to heating food, and not cooking it.
