Tolino Vision Color

The Tolino brand e-reader is a mid-budget solution featuring a 7-inch screen. Within the brand's lineup, it is the first reader with a color display: it is based on the paper-like E Ink Kaleido 3 technology, providing a resolution of up to 1680x1264 pixels or 300 ppi in monochrome format (and half that in color). The screen is enhanced by smartLight that adjusts brightness and color temperature and features touch control with support for multitouch up to 2 touches, which is enough for scrolling, zooming (there is also a magnifying glass option), swipes, etc.

The Tolino Vision Color e-book operates on Android, equipped with a 2 GHz dual-core processor from MediaTek, 1 GB RAM, and 32 GB of internal memory. Other notable features include wireless communication modules (Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth v 5.0), as well as a lithium-polymer battery with a 2050 mAh capacity, offering over a week of autonomy. Advantages include quality IPX8 water protection (allowing even brief submersion), compatibility with the brand's stylus, support for voice reading, moderate dimensions (8.3 mm thickness) and weight (200 grams). Note that while it has an audio player, only audiobooks purchased from the brand's store can be played. Furthermore, despite having decent text file format support, the reader does not support the fairly popular FB2 extension.
