An adapter with a USB cable for connecting a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD drive to a computer, laptop, smart TV, or gaming console. The model features a non-removable cable design and supports connection through the USB 3.2 gen1 interface with a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps. It additionally supports UASP and TRIM protocols for faster reading and writing. The adapter's hard drive interface is SATA 3.

Using the Ugreen CM321 requires no driver or software installation — the model is automatically recognized by all popular operating systems (Plug&Play). Additional options include hot-swapping drives and a sleep mode function to extend the lifespan of the storage medium. The model supports drives with capacities up to 6 TB. During data exchange, the condition of the drive is monitored by an integrated S.M.A.R.T. system. Lastly, the device boasts compact dimensions for ease of everyday carrying.
