M.2 NVMe SSD hard drive case equipped with a convenient "Push" button for quick installation and removal of the drive without the use of additional tools. The model is assembled in a screwless aluminum casing that efficiently dissipates heat during use. The allowable hard drive capacity is up to 6 TB. Notably, the case features a high-speed USB-C 3.2 gen2 data exchange interface with a maximum speed of up to 10 Gb/s.
However, the actual transfer speed via the SATA interface is up to 6 Gb/s. The drive is secured inside the case with rubber locks. Ugreen CM400 is recognized automatically in a Plug & Play mode. Popular operating systems detect the drive case without the need to install drivers and additional software. Additionally, the model boasts compact dimensions and lightweight construction — 119x37x12 mm and 55 g, respectively (excluding the hard drive).

I've been using it for about half a year with various m.2 NVMe drives (mostly WD SN740, included with Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally) – I haven't encountered any issues. The speed is mostly 300 MB/sec and above (with the included cable). It doesn't overheat excessively, nonetheless, the rubber "case" is quite handy. The ability to disassemble it without a screwdriver has also come in handy multiple times. Reliability, convenience, data transfer speed, operating temperature. Not found. |
