The Ugreen over-ear headphones fall into the mid-price category and can be recommended for various use scenarios. They are suitable for listening to music and gaming (featuring a dedicated low-latency sound mode), and thanks to the built-in microphone, they can function as a headset for calls or work video conferences. Adding to the model's versatility is the combined connectivity option – both wired using a USB-C port and wireless via Bluetooth v5.4.
The Ugreen HiTune Max5C headphones are equipped with 40-millimeter drivers that have a Hi-Res Audio certification, ensuring excellent sound quality. They also support the advanced LDAC codec and boast an active noise cancellation system: it effectively eliminates ambient noise (with a declared level of -38 dB). Additionally, there is a normal mode and a transparent mode, the latter allowing good audibility of surroundings.
Other notable features of the model include rotating ear cups and a foldable design for easy storage and transportation, along with impressive battery life. The 600 mAh battery provides 45 to 75 hours of operation (depending on ANC usage), and supports fast charging: a 5-minute charge gives up to 5 more hours of music playback, while full charging takes 1.5 hours. Key Highlights: - Versatile connectivity (USB-C and Bluetooth v5.4) - Hi-Res Audio certified 40mm drivers - Advanced LDAC codec and active noise cancellation - Exceptional battery life and fast charging capability - Convenient design with rotating, foldable ear cups

The sound is on par, or even slightly better than in Max5. Sound transmission via USB-C cable. Very convenient. The price is significantly lower than its predecessor. Build quality. It is inferior to the previous model here. When you hold them in your hands after the Max5, the materials feel a bit cheap. The hinges, for example, are loosely secured, whereas in the Max5, they are well secured. I do not recommend buying in Ukraine due to the high cost. It's better to purchase them on AliExpress - you will pay significantly less there. |
Connected using the LDAC codec. But there's no point in it. The sound is terrible. I've tried everything with the settings! They sound like they're playing from a pipe. Too much bass, the mids are awful, the highs are screechy. Enhancers and equalizers won't save it. It was born to crawl. And it won't fly! - I was such a fool when I bought them. |

To give you a sneak peek, I'll say that my favorite is still the Max5 model due to its superior build quality.
I can also compare them to the Baseus Bowie D03. The Ugreen HiTune Max5c is significantly better than the mentioned model from Baseus in all aspects.
