Valve Steam Deck OLED 512GB

The 512GB Steam Deck OLED is an updated version of the popular portable console from Steam, which sets trends in the mobile gaming market. This version uses an OLED screen, which provides vivid colors and deep blacks. One of the key features of the Steam Deck is the touchscreen-adapted SteamOS shell based on Arch Linux with access to an extensive library of Steam games, most of which have already been adapted for the mobile console.

Steam Deck OLED is powered by a custom AMD processor (3.5 GHz, Zen 2 architecture) with four physical cores and the ability to process data in eight threads. Graphics performance is provided by an AMD RDNA 2 video processor with eight computing units operating at a frequency of up to 1.6 GHz. The device is equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offers an increased amount of memory compared to the original model, including an NVMe SSD with a capacity of 512 or 1000 GB.

This is a pretty significant improvement, which significantly expands the storage options for your game library without the need for memory cards. Although the console's hardware is a bit outdated compared to its newer competitors, it still delivers decent performance thanks to its 720p screen resolution, while most competitors are tuned for the more demanding 1080p resolution. In most games, the console delivers frame rates of 30 to 40 frames per second at medium graphics settings, although results may vary depending on the specific game.
