Portable gaming console from Valve, equipped with SteamOS, which allows for running most games from the Steam library. Essentially, it's a full-fledged portable computer enabling you to play PC games like *The Witcher 3* or *Elder Ring* on a plane, train carriage, hotel room, or lying on your favorite couch. The console supports various control methods, including a touchscreen, buttons, sticks, and triggers, allowing players to choose the most convenient control method for them.
It can also be used somewhat like a tablet, running standard PC applications. The Steam Deck’s performance is powered by a custom 8-thread AMD processor (Zen 2 architecture) running at a frequency of 2.4 to 3.5 GHz. Accompanying the processor is an RDNA 2 graphics chip from AMD with 8 compute units, capable of delivering 30 to 60 FPS on medium graphics settings in most of the latest AAA games.
The picture is completed with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD. The storage volume can be expanded with a memory card. Image output on the Valve Steam Deck is handled by a 7-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, ensuring a clear and vibrant picture. The built-in battery guarantees up to 8 hours of continuous gameplay. The device also supports various wireless connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0. There's an option to connect external peripherals such as gamepads and mice through built-in USB ports.
Always clarify the specifications and configuration of the product with the online store manager before purchasing.

A brilliant portable device, I give my respects to Valve. "Steam Deck" is essentially a portable computer. And you log into "Steam" and download your games. I haven't tested it extensively. But it's just great, though not without its drawbacks -The system is as good as Proton -The petals are not convenient for me -The weight is not very good |
Great console. You can play modern titles at 40-60 FPS. Personally tested Control (medium, 40 FPS), Forza Horizon 4 (high, 60 FPS), Stray (medium, 40 FPS). Haven't tested more significant titles, because the library doesn't have very new games. There are reviews of many titles on YouTube, so it's all in your hands ;) Additionally, you can install the Heroic Games Launcher and play games from the Epic Games library (there are enough guides online). Unofficial games can also be installed, but it's better to record them already unpacked (i.e., installed) on a MicroSD. Power. Stability of SteamOS. Ability to adjust limit settings for longer console operation. Frequent additions of games compatible with Steam Deck. Support for SDXC memory cards with a very large capacity. Exclusive regional prices in the Steam store (unlike PS Store or Nintendo Store). You can install Windows 10/11 and play games from Game Pass. Not found. |
I bought in Up2Date, everything is great. The largest library even for the console Dealing with launchers (Ubi, EA, etc.) is a hassle. Installing games not through Steam (installers) requires extra effort. |
