Debuted on the market in 2016, the XD Design backpack quickly became a bestseller. The model is available in three colour variations: all black, grey-black and red-black. There is also a more compact version on the market, designed for a 14-inch laptop — Bobby Anti-Theft Backpack 14.
Thief Protection
The presence in the name of the model "Anti-Theft" hints at the main feature of the backpack. All pockets and zippers are placed on the inside and hidden under the bends of the fabric from prying eyes, which is designed to protect things in the process of being worn from unauthorized access.
Solid polypropylene plates are inserted into the walls of the backpack, which will make it difficult to cut the product. Inside the multilayer material there is also a soft layer that protects against squeezing and shock, and the outer layer of polyester is “not afraid” of precipitation.
Inner space
XD Design Bobby Anti-Theft Backpack 15.6 can be opened at the desired angle from 30 to 180 degrees. In the latter case, maximum access and convenience will be provided in the process of collecting the necessary things. The total volume of usable space is about 13 liters. USB interface and other features
The XD Design Bobby Anti-Theft Backpack 15.6 comes with a USB extension cable. One edge is inside (the Power bank battery is supposed to be connected here), and the other is displayed at the base of the right strap of the backpack (here you can connect a mobile gadget and charge it while it is in your pocket or in your hand).
Additional features of the model include the ability to fix the backpack on the handle of a travel suitcase, reflective stripes on the outside and sides, soft, well-ventilated fabric on the back. All this can compensate for the main drawback of the model — the high cost.
I don't know what has broken for others, but in 2 years of use, the USB is intact and the "snake" is as well, plus it comes with original YKK hardware.
I always pack the backpack to the brim, and it's the first bag where the zipper hasn't broken after several years of use.
