A remarkable model of a portable smart projector with combined power supply: the device is normally supplied with energy from a regular household outlet, and in offline mode, a built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 12000 mAh is responsible for its operation. A fully charged battery provides up to 2 hours of watching movies or broadcasting game images. XGIMI Halo Plus runs on the Android TV smart system with Google Assistant.

Inside the model there is a DLP matrix with real Full HD resolution. However, the projector can easily “digest” video in 4K format, and with support for HDR10+. The model projects the image onto canvases measuring up to 200 inches diagonally. To set up broadcasts, automatic systems are provided for focusing, image shifting (to avoid obstacles), and correcting trapezoidal distortions in the horizontal and vertical planes.

The projector has up to 900 ANSI lumens of brightness. Note that in offline mode, the brightness of the LED light source drops to approximately 700 ANSI lumens. The device was equipped with Harman Kardon stereo speakers with a total power of 10 W, a Wi-Fi 5 wireless module, and a low latency in game mode (26.5 s). The projector is easy to carry thanks to its lightweight design - 1.6 kg.

Video reviews

The hip XGIMI Halo Plus projector boasts optimally balanced characteristics: the model is suitable for watching movies, spending time playing games and listening to music. And all this - without being strictly tied to a socket.

Stereo sound from Harman Kardon

Externally, the projector looks like a large Bluetooth speaker. However, if you turn off the image display, it can act as a portable speaker. For this purpose , the model is equipped with stereo speakers from Harman Kardon with a total power of 10 W. The emitters on board the projector sound loud, clear and dense. That is, they cope well with the reproduction of audio content.

Resolution up to 4K

The projector has a DLP matrix that provides a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. At the same time, the model supports video in resolutions up to 4K, and even in HDR. In mains power mode, the projector's LED lamp produces a luminous flux of up to 900 ANSI lumens, and when powered by a built-in battery, it produces a brightness of up to 700 ANSI lumens. With such data, the projected image is clearly visible even in not completely darkened conditions.

Auto image adjustment

In terms of image size , you can squeeze a diagonal of up to 200 inches out of the XGIMI Halo Plus. The picture is adjusted automatically — for these purposes, the model provides autofocus, lens shift to avoid obstacles, and automatic correction of geometric distortions. The popular Android TV served as a smart system for the projector, and other features of the model include a 2-hour battery life and a 1/4" threaded socket in the case for mounting the projector on a tripod.
