A normal smart bracelet requires basic functionality. Nothing special, for a penny it's normal. For such a price, it's a very good choice. The complete strap is erasable. Very satisfied, the battery lasts for at least 14 days. The screen is bright enough to be visible in the sun, just need to choose a suitable watch face. It's not afraid of water, but I'm still wary of showering with it in hot water. Long-lasting on a single charge, with plenty of functionality: control the player, and you can set the phone to silent mode without taking it out of your bag via the watch. It wasn't purchased as a fitness bracelet since a pedometer and heart rate monitoring or workouts are not needed, but rather as a miniature phone. The display is a bit small, the "mi fit" app often glitches and sometimes fails to update the Bluetooth connection with the phone, which rarely but sometimes makes me miss calls. Excellent fitness bracelet without any frills. Bought in Rozetka for 400 UAH. Been using it for 1 year. Autonomy lasts for 10-14 days with the gyroscope enabled. Contactless payment availability (works even without being connected to a phone). Water resistance, you can swim with the bracelet (not tested in saltwater). Many training scenarios (modes). Ability to install custom watch faces. After 9 months of active use, the strap broke. The contactless payment function only works if your smartphone's Android is at least 6.0 (I did not check on iOS). After some time, the card gets unlinked, and you have to add it again. Xiaomi is the undisputed leader in the arena of fitness trackers. The ambitious Chinese brand's fitness trackers sell in the millions, and their functionality grows exponentially from generation to generation.
Key innovation
The "folk" fitness tracker Mi Band in the fourth generation appeared to the general public at the dawn of the summer season of 2019. The key innovation that found implementation on board the bracelet was the equipment with a 0.95-inch diagonal AMOLED colour display. It is topped with 2.5D tempered glass with an oleophobic coating. Users are provided with 4 regular dials for judgment, as well as a huge number of main screens for every taste and colour are available in the Mi Fit application.

As usual, the display of a fitness tracker displays the time, notifications from applications and instant messengers, information about the activity of the “carrier”, a detailed weather forecast, etc. From now on, you can tap on it to control the smartphone's music player and smart home devices of the Xiaomi ecosystem. Bluetooth 5.0 is used to connect with mobile phones.
Improved Algorithms
As part of the fitness component, Xiaomi Mi Band 4 has got improved algorithms for tracking activities, including when doing water sports(the bracelet recognizes various styles of swimming: freestyle, butterfly, etc.). A separate honor to be mentioned is given to the support of the voice assistant Xiao AI (does not support the Russian language). By the way, despite the colour screen, the tracker still “lives” without recharging for an honest 20 days. The reason for this is the increased capacity of the rechargeable battery (135 mAh). In pursuit of the standard version of the bracelet, the older Mi Band 4 model with an NFC module is presented on store shelves, but it is not “friendly” with Google Pay and in our latitudes there is essentially no sense in it.
