Introduced in 2022, Xiaomi's smartwatch is a sporty version of another brand's flagship watch, the Watch S1. They differ from their predecessor in design: they received a plastic case instead of a metal one and a silicone strap without leather inserts, suitable for swimming. In addition, there is also a dual-band GPS module, additional sensors for measuring altitude and pressure, and the usual charging connector is replaced here with a more practical magnetic charger.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Active smartwatch received a 1.43-inch AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 466x466 pixels, a protective glass and two hundred dials available for use. The original Xiaomi Watch S1 smartwatch has become a real bestseller, competing with more expensive models from Samsung, Apple and Garmin. The success of the model stood on three pillars - price, convenience and advanced functionality. Only sports opportunities lagged behind, according to the logic of the developer, Mi Band fitness trackers are better suited for this. However, a year later, Xiaomi responded to the requests of users and released a sports version of Watch S1 with a silicone strap more suitable for swimming, a practical charging connector, advanced sports modes, additional sensors and dual GPS.

Xiaomi Watch S1 Active is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466x466 pixels with a high pixel density, making any of the hundreds of available watch faces look clear and rich. The screen is covered with protective glass. The built-in battery provides up to 30 hours of operation with GPS enabled, or up to 12 days without it. This is an excellent indicator of autonomy, even against the background of watches costing 2-3 times higher. For voice communication, a fairly good speaker and microphone are provided.
