At the very end of 2022, Xiaomi rolled out to the public a budget model of the Redmi 12C smartphone. The device is suitable for those who are looking for an unpretentious everyday “handset” with good autonomy.

It is decorated in a design with a neat teardrop-shaped cutout for a 5 MP selfie camera lens. But the resolution of the display is relatively small and is 1650x720 pixels. It also uses a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Branded shell
At the heart of the mobile device , an eight-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor was installed and the proprietary MIUI 13 interface (knurled over Android 13) was optimized for it. Partial "trimming" of the functionality of the software shell made it possible to increase the speed of the smartphone. In terms of memory, the model is offered in a wide variety of versions - this particular version has 3 GB of RAM and a 64 GB data drive.
Onboard armament
Takes pictures of Xiaomi Redmi 12C with a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel leading image sensor. On the same platform with the rear camera of the smartphone, you can see the fingerprint scanner. The device's 5000 mAh rechargeable battery deserves special respect, but without support for fast charging. By the way, for some reason, an outdated microUSB is used as a charging connector. The icing on the cake in the model is the NFC chip. However, its presence on board must be clarified, because it is not available in all modifications of the smartphone.
