Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E5

The Xiaomi company's product lineup was expanded in 2024 with the addition of a robot vacuum cleaner. This is an affordable universal assistant designed for both dry and wet home cleaning. The collection of dry debris is handled by a main brush and two side brushes, which sweep dirt and crumbs along the baseboards and from corners, directing them to the suction inlet. With a suction power of 2000 Pa, the vacuum is capable of collecting small debris, hair, and pet fur.

There are three operating modes to choose from: silent, standard, and turbo mode, which help adapt to different types of surfaces. The 400 ml dust collector does not require frequent cleaning. Wet cleaning is performed by a soft microfiber cloth, which gradually receives water from the tank. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E5 is equipped with numerous sensors for navigation: using these, the robot scans the surrounding space, creates maps and routes, identifies obstacles, doesn't fall off stairs, and avoids furniture and other interior items.

Thanks to its low-profile design (7 cm), the device easily fits under sofas, armchairs, and beds. The built-in battery provides up to 110 minutes of autonomous operation on a single charge. When the battery is low, the gadget automatically returns to the charging base. Several control methods are available. The robot supports virtual assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, so it understands users' voice commands. In addition, the device can be controlled remotely via the proprietary mobile app: in it, you can change settings, create cleaning schedules, edit room maps, and select specific areas for cleaning.
