The Xiaomi Robotic Vacuum Cleaner by the well-known Chinese manufacturer is a versatile model in the mid-price range, designed for dry cleaning and damp mopping. With a suction power of 10,000 Pa, it effectively removes dust, crumbs, hair, and pet fur from various floor surfaces. The V-shaped main brush with hair and fur anti-tangle protection and a side brush for collecting debris in corners and along walls handle the dry cleaning.

The damp mopping is executed by a standard module featuring a microfiber cloth, a 210 ml water reservoir, and three levels of water supply. The 5200 mAh battery provides up to 180 minutes of autonomous operation in standard mode, which is enough to clean large apartments without recharging. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 comes with a compact base station that automatically empties debris from the dust container into a 4-liter disposable bag, lasting approximately 90 days before needing to be emptied.

For navigation, the robot vacuum uses a laser LDS system with high-precision mapping and 360-degree circular scanning. The robot creates and saves 3D maps of rooms for multiple floors, which can be viewed in the Xiaomi Home app with map switching and real-time cleaning route tracking. Additionally, the app allows you to set cleaning schedules, establish no-go zones, and adjust parameters. Furthermore, the gadget is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant virtual assistants for voice command control.
