The router was initially released without WiFi 7, but with the possibility of updating in the future. At the moment, support for WiFi 7 is implemented, but the old name AX7000, or simply Router 7000, may appear.

Like other high-performance routers, Xiaomi Mi models from 2024, this model can simultaneously operate in two Wi-Fi bands (one transmitter-receiver at 2.4 GHz passes up to 1147 Mbps, the second operates in the 5 GHz band with 4x4 MU-MIMO (2 channels) and has a theoretical throughput of 5765 Mbps).
The flagship Qualcomm Networking Pro 620 processor (Cortex-A73) ensures ultra-fast processing of any traffic streams. The actual throughput of the Xiaomi Mi Router BE7000 will more than suffice for all typical household tasks, including ultra-high-resolution video streaming, low-latency gaming, surfing, and working with files in the cloud or NAS storage. All LAN ports support GbE LAN 2.5G mode, and by aggregating two, a channel with a bandwidth of 5 Gbps can be created.

Great router, easily handles my large array of devices. Probably due to IoT support, smart home devices easily connect to the network, although on other router models I had to enable wifi 5g compatibility. Combining the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies into one network reduces the coverage range. Easily integrated into a mesh with another router - Xiaomi be3600 via cable. Ability to install Docker containers. Lack of 6GHz. Mesh is not as seamless as we would like. Limited docker  Yevhenii Pokutnii: use Xiaomi Router BE7000 few months |
