The satellites are equipped with 7-cm midrange drivers with a nominal power of 30 W, and the front and surround speakers are made using bass-reflex technology, which dampens membrane vibrations and reduces sound distortion. A 50-watt subwoofer with a linear phase inverter port delivers good lows, but, as in the case of "mid-range speakers", it will not be enough for high-quality reproduction of hard rock, even despite Advanced YST II technology, which provides a more or less even linear response and good sound pressure level. With wires, the manufacturer also did not modify it slightly, according to some users, their standard length is not enough for optimal placement of the system.

Otherwise, the Yamaha NS-P40 is the perfect balance of sound quality, design and value. An excellent choice for open-minded fans of indulging in a good sound at home.
