The Japanese brand, which specializes in the production of a wide range of musical instruments and equipment, has been doing well for several decades. Yamaha PAC112V (Pacifica) is a versatile electric guitar model that every self-respecting guitarist should play at least once in their life.

Simplicity and reliability

The Yamaha Strat is offered in several body colours: classic natural, black, and sunburst. The presence of a pickguard is another tribute to the classic Stratocaster.

The body of the instrument is made of solid selected alder. The sound of this wood species is distinguished by pronounced mid frequencies, rich and dense timbre. The 22-fret bolt-on maple neck deserves special praise. He is not afraid of deflections and the “propeller”, so you won’t have to bother with setting the anchor after changing the gauge of the strings. Yamaha has the most reliable necks, and that's a fact.

The sound you need

Three SSH pickups (two single coils and a cut-off humbucker), a tremolo bridge and two cataways make the Pacifica an perfect guitar for practicing and playing solo techniques and passages. But this does not mean that powerful riffs or ordinary chord accompaniment sound bad on it. The tuning pegs are stable, especially if you do not force the tremolo lever.
