ZTE Blade 20 Smart 128GB 128 GB / 4 GB
Photos 16 | Outdated Product £13.45 A sensible mid-low-cost in elegant attire "dark emerald" or "black garnet". This is how ZTE marketers call the two gradient colours of the back of the smartphone. At the front, the focus is on a “high” screen with dimensions of 6.49" diagonally and an HD + image resolution (1560x720 pixels). A small piece of the upper segment of the display “bit off” a droplet-shaped cutout for the needs of the selfie camera. The main photographic mission is shouldered by a triple photoblock from the rear. It combines 16 + 8 + 2 MP image sensors under its wing. Also behind a bright spot stands out the platform of the fingerprint scanner. Inside the ZTE Blade 20 128GB placed eight-core processor MediaTek Helio P60 and 4 GB of RAM. There are no performance problems with this “iron” bundle, whether it is ever...yday use of a smartphone or pastime in virtual game worlds. The non-Chinese version of the device also carries an NFC chip on board. Another "trick" of the model is support for 18-watt charging of the 5000 mAh battery. |

In search of the perfect smartphone
It has been said more than once that when buying an inexpensive smartphone, you have to make compromises. In one case, there will be a good screen and NFC, but little RAM. In another powerful iron, but a weak battery. In the third trouble with everything. And so in a circle. And it is all the more surprising that the ZTE Blade 20 marks the place of an unattainable perfect. At least on paper.
3 days without recharging is not a problem
It is distinguished by the presence of an NFC chip, which is now installed in a model of this class every other time. If you are used to using your smartphone instead of a credit card, then this would be a great option. Moreover, the fingerprint scanner works quickly and accurately, it is always possible to enter the banking application on the first try. The second clear plus ZTE Blade 20 is a capacious 5000 mAh battery, which is also equipped with fast 18-watt charging. Its result: 9 hours of screen glow at automatic brightness and more than two days in active mode. Such instances are extremely rare. A bonus was the power bank mode, which allows you to share energy with other gadgets using an OTG cable. The third application for the title of perfect smartphone is the fifth generation Wi-Fi module with VoWiFi, USB-C port and VoLTE support. All these things are often found in smartphones of this level, but they almost never go together.
4 GB RAM
The speed and responsiveness of the smartphone is also on top: 4 GB of RAM is enough to run the OS itself, launch a bunch of applications and open a bunch of tabs in the browser without having to load data. Well, the Mediatek Helio P60 processor does a good job with not too demanding toys, photo processing, video stabilization and opening applications hanging in the tray. AnTuTu score of 137,218 is impressive for a smartphone in this class. As well as the built-in storage of 128 GB, although it would be more common to see such a volume in a model for $ 300 — 400. At the same time, you can throw a memory card into the Blade 20.
Quality sound
ZTE has always treated sound with respect, so the Blade 20 has a pretty good DAC that takes out even low-cost headphones with high quality. And the DTS mode noticeably improves the sound quality in the speaker. The design of the smartphone also evokes sympathy: the back cover is again gradient, but the emerald and garnet colours distinguish the models from competitors from Xiaomi or Huawei. Well, the fly in the ointment mentioned at the beginning was the display. With a diagonal of 6.5", the resolution here is only 1560x720 pixels, that is, the pixels, although not the size of a fist, are still visible. And in the options, for some reason, you can’t remove the cut under the camera, which makes the screen look a little sloppy. However, the display is quite good for its money, for $150 we have seen screens much worse.
