The low-cost smartphone of the Chinese company ZTE has a low cost and a modest set of features. The device is quite compact, as it uses a small IPS display with a diagonal of 5.45". At the same time, large frames around the screen take up a significant part of the usable area. The basis of the model was the 8-core processor UNISoC SC9863A, which works in conjunction with an almost minimal amount of memory — only 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.
However the storage can be expanded using microSD – the slot accepts memory cards up to 128 GB. Due to low performance, the device runs on the Android Go edition operating system, a simplified and lighter version of Android. A 3000 mAh battery is responsible for the battery life of the ZTE Blade A31, although with such a small screen and a simple processor, it doesn’t need more.
Smart power saving is claimed: this feature monitors and restricts high-power applications and prevents the chip from overloading. The main camera is made in the form of a large block, but in fact it has only one 8-megapixel sensor. There is no fingerprint scanner, but there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and an NFC for contactless payment, which is not so common in low-cost smartphones.
