As it turns out, Xiaomi is actually selling us the same headphones in the same case, but with a couple of cosmetic additions. The first Airdots were not at hand to compare them head-on, but it felt like everything began to play a little more assertive and solid, and the bass seemed to have become a little more voluminous. Perhaps they just improved the digital compression algorithms. Or maybe they changed something in the hardware.
