The Faithfull planes are designed for end grain work or in any situation where a single-handed operation is required. The low angle cutter and fully adjustable mouth from wide for coarse work to narrow for the fine shaving of awkward grain, make these planes ideal for all types of end grain work. The 60 1/2 block plane with a 35mm cutter width, set at a low angle of 13 1/2º making it particularly effective on end grain and plastic laminates. The Faithfull solid tungsten carbide planer blades are designed for use with portable electric planers with an 82mm cutting block and suitable clamping system. Blades are manufactured from high quality tungsten carbide and provide excellent performance in both timber and man-made boards. Blades are supplied in pairs and are reversible to provide an extended working life.
