Glass tips are often seen as a good general purpose tip, they are typically softer and offer less resistance to taking fish which helps to prolong the bite. Carbon tips are much lighter than glass more→and generally crisper in action, this makes a noticeable difference to rod balance and recovery when casting. All tips have accurate test curves and feature the same Hi-Viz Red painted tops. These standard tips fit the majority of current and previous Drennan feeder rods with the exception of the Acolyte range.
